Born in 1979 in Bijeljina/Bosnia-Herzegovina, has lived in Austria since 1992. His first play was called “Je höher das Gras, je näher die Sense”. In 2004/5 and 2006/7 he took part in the Retzhofer Literature Prize.
Scenic readings of his plays have taken place in Vienna and Graz, among other places, and have been published by publishers such as edition exil, Theater der Zeit and Tiskama Peklaj. In 2007 he won the exile-drama Award with his play “Der Tagstürzer”.
In 2011, the short drama “Ein Privileg” premiered as part of the “Stadt der Zukunft” theatre festival in Karlsruhe.
As part of the SAR-VIE-SAR project, he translated “Galapagos” by Elma Tataragic.
As part of the WIENER WORTSTAETTEN, he wrote the plays “Ich gehe nach Hause” and “Das Glück der anderen”.
“Ich gehe nach Hause” was presented as a staged reading as part of the Wortstattnacht 2008 at the TAG, organised by Sandra Schüddekopf.
