Kathrin Röggla (*1971) is a writer and works as a prose author and playwright, she also develops radio plays. Her most recent publications are “Ausreden” (2022) and “Bauernkriegspanorama” (2020), as well as the theatre plays “Verfahren” (2022) and “Das Wasser” (2022). She has received numerous prizes for her literary works, most recently the Else-Lasker-Schüler Prize (2022) and the Austrian Art Prize for Literature (2020). She is vice-president of the Academy of Arts in Berlin and professor at the KHM in Cologne.
She wrote “Kein Plan” for the Austria feature at the Leipzig Book Fair Weltsprache Provinz – vom Leben und Sterben in einem zentraluropäischen failed state.
