Jan Geiger, born in 1987, studied literary writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig and social work at Munich University of Applied Sciences.
He has published in several anthologies, interned at the Volkstheater and the Kammerspiele in Munich and assisted at the Maxim Gorki Theater in Berlin. He is a member of the Münchner Theatertexter*innen and organizes readings in the city.

His play “Kow Loon” premiered in 2015 at the Landestheater Coburg under the direction of Alice Asper. In 2019, he was part of the joint production “Münchner Schichten” as an author. In 2020, he received a scholarship from the City of Munich for the project “Eisbären”. In the same year, his play “Innuendo” premiered at the Pathos Theater Munich under the direction of Lea Ralfs.

Jan Geiger worked on his play “Eisbären” as part of the project Tour of the Text.
